The Catspaw Tea Party And The Resurgence Of Ugly America
March 21, 2012

Didja notice that since the Tea Party gained prominence that the country has gotten not only uglier but absolutely atavistic?

People now are fighting over contraception, women’s rights, abortion, race, and welfare. The ugliness of those fights in the past has been revived to little purpose other than to stir up the ignorant passions of the thoughtless elements of the electorate in order to take their White House back from the uppity nigger who won it fair and square four years ago.

But what can you expect from a party that is nothing more than a catspaw for the the wealthy elites who finance it and who want to rule the United States rather than let the people freely choose their governance?

Another Sickening Republican Wants Into The Senate From Nebraska
August 9, 2011

This guy is the Attorney General of Nebraska. He’s disgusting and he’s a hypocrite.

Republicans really can’t stand poor people, disadvantaged people, people who struggle to feed themselves and their family, people who aren’t filthy rich, people who have little or no political power.

There was that piece of Republicrap South Carolina Lieutenant Governor last year comparing the poor to stray animals. Now there’s this Nebraska wannabe degrading welfare recipients…

“The raccoons – they’re not stupid, they’re gonna do the easy way if we make it easy for them. Just like welfare recipients all across America. If we don’t send them to work, they’re gonna take the easy route."

TPM has the story.

Why is he a hypocrite? Here’s some interesting info from a commenter at TPM.

73 percent of Nebraska farmers received some sort of payment in 2009.

10 percent of Nebraska farmers collected 62 percent of the
money.

$306.1 million in direct payments was collected by Nebraska
farmers in 2009.

10 percent of Nebraska farmers collected 56 percent of payments from 1995-2009.

Nebraska was fifth among states in total farm payments at $14
billion from 1995-2009.

Source: Environmental Working Group.

Guess those Nebraska farmers must be some of the laziest bastards in the country, eh? And how much do you want to bet that the top gummint welfare recipients among those farmers are big donors to the Republican party which this scumbag Bruning calls his political home?

Yowsah! Republicanism at its finest!

Feeling Trickled On By The Bush Economy?
September 20, 2007

In today’s Globe Kimberly Blanton writes that the real estate market is booming if you’re rich:

Sales of single-family homes priced at $1 million and above have surged 9.6 percent so far this year, compared with a 5 percent decline in sales of homes under $1 million, according to Warren Group, a Boston publisher of real estate data and news.

It’s all part of the diabolical conservative plan to remake America. Create and cater to a class of rich and super-rich, reduce the middle class to a bunch of whimpering wimps constantly on the edge of bankruptcy, and let the working poor and the poor collect the trickle of crumbs to be had in serfing for the rich people.

It appears to be working. The Bushies are buying multi-million dollar homes, the working people can’t afford rent or mortgages and live in dread of getting sick and losing what they’ve got, and Bush’s only answer is to drag the country deeper into wars that will kill off more working poor and middle-class people, while the rich don’t have to pay taxes, don’t have to send their kids to Iraq, don’t have to apologize, don’t have to sweat getting sick, don’t have to lift a finger (except that one in the middle that they show to the rest of us all the time) because Maria the maid does all the work, and they sure don’t give a damn about the future of the United States.

We didn’t end welfare. We just took the money from the people who needed help and handed it to the rich people. That’s the Republican way. Rob the poor to support the rich.

Yowsah!
