Bathroom Hygiene: Why Men Don’t Have To Wash Their Hands

Marilynn Marchione of the AP writes in the Globe today:

One-third of men didn’t bother to wash after using the bathroom, compared with 12 percent of women, said … researchers who spy on people in public restrooms. They reported their latest findings yesterday at a meeting of infectious disease scientists.

First things first. Let’s find those people spying on us in public restrooms and arrest them.

As for men washing their hands after peeing, well, if you don’t pee on your hands why should you wash your hands?

  2. Ric have very different opinion why men must wash their hands throughly when using work place men’s room ot public restroom to avoid getting bacteria to avoid getting any diseases. Personally have very strong germs phobia that after washing my hands throughly with soap turn off the tap with paper towel use another paper towel to open the rest room door. This works for me well.
