David Bauder of the Associated Press, writing on the shrinking audience for NBC News and Brian Williams, notes some numbers, and then writes:
To be fair, the nightly news audience traditionally drops when warm weather arrives, and it has been a slow news period.
Bauder, and by extension, NBC Nightly News, has apparently missed a few issues, including that the United States is fighting at least two wars; that a Presidential campaign is underway with a couple of dozen candidates; that the President is disliked and hated by more people every day; that the world faces an environmental catastrophe that could wipe out life on the planet; that Congress is embroiled in an incredibly dangerous series of battles with a power-hungry and oligarchic Presidency; and that the press and the media have sunk to a level of competence that makes Mike Brown of Katrina fame look like a frigging genius.
Slow news period? Jeez, Bauder, someone ought to make you put your journalism credentials back in the cereal box from which you stole them.
Maybe persons like Brian Williams should join the Fox news media where they have republican news reporting…
Democrats in particular are getting tired of the bias republican news media.. So there can only be so many stations to handle the republicans BS like Fox news…
