The Turks have been shelling and skirmishing across the Iraq border lately, and have massed troops and armor on their side. Their quarrel is with Kurdish rebels, whom the Turks consider ‘terrorists’.
Little Condoleezza Rice, reputed to be the United States Secretary of State, had something to say about that, according to the Associated Press:
Rice, speaking in New York to a panel of Associated Press journalists, said it’s “not good for anybody for a robust move across the border.” She described it as “not good for Iraq and not good for Turkey.”
Let us understand this, Ms. Condo. You pimped the invasion of Iraq, lying and deceiving to get your way. Iraq had no terrorists. Iraq offered no threat to the United States. Iraq had no part in the 9/11 attacks. But you were just drooling to get our soldiers in there to die and kill and maim on a massive scale, for some yet unfathomable reason.
Now Turkey, which is being attacked by ‘terrorists’ based in Iraq, has, by Ms. Condo’s lights, no right to go after them.
Tell me again, Ms. Condo, why nobody in his right mind trusts you or your insane master in the White House?
